Roland Levinsky Building

One of Plymouth’s landmark buildings, the award winning Roland Levinsky Building is the arts complex at the University of Plymouth built in 2007.

Construction of the building began in 2004 and was completed on schedule in early August 2007 with a value of £34m. The building is 9 stories high and has 13,000 square metres (140,000 sq ft) of floor space. The building has been named in memory of Roland Levinsky, former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Plymouth.

Work undertaken: all aspects which began with painting of the external hoardings right through to spraying of internal pillars and ceilings and tiling work.

Contract period: 16 months
